Grown in Spain and popular throughout Germany, in Vietnam (su hào) and India. Bulbous stems are used raw in salad and slaws with a texture similar to a broccoli stem. Kohlrabi leaves are edible and can be used like collard greens or kale. An important part of the Kashmiri cuisine, where it is called Mŏnji.
