Lohman Brown hens roam freely through the orchards of Brambletye fruit farm in Forest Row, East Sussex. Orchard Eggs practice Biodynamic Agriculture by following its high welfare standards and providing a balanced natural environment. Going further than organic methods an treating birds and the land with the utmost respect and ensuring a supply of premium quality eggs.
Small flocks of chickens kept in move-able houses throughout 60 acres of biodynamic orchards. Reared by hand without the use of antibiotics and supplemented with 100% locally sourced organic feed containing no artificial enhancers. Guided by the cockerels, the hens roam freely 24/7. This encourages natural behaviours and they forage their food.
